I wish I had the skills to write this all in Spanish but I don’t. I am not there yet. But you guys have helped push me all through these 10K points. I thought when I first started I’d quit. I disliked the ads so much. And of course I didn’t have a clue why the fluent speakers of Spanish were picking on me. I thank fontonero because he stepped through the door and took the opportunity to PM me. “Don’t worry about the tiny mistakes.” And LateToDinner encouraged me the ads would pass. "Think globally" when you do a game or challenge. And LovelyLove’s games where there. And the love for nametaken was brought to her attention through Heidita and Echoline's efforts and diligence. Nametaken will never be forgotten, ever. Step by step, day by day, each of you became more and more known to each other and to me.
Every time I seethed and shouted I knew I was going to gut it out, because the goal of really speaking Spanish is in my heart. It’s embedded deep, and don’t even ask me why. And over time I think the forum saw this, because I could see the love of language and life and people was in your hearts. So many have pushed not just me but each other! Over time, I could see this. And my hope is if anyone is struggling they stick. Forget about perfection. Forget about mistakes. It’s like Gekko’s creative writing; the process of the story is more important than the story itself. The same with learning Spanish or English or anything new; it’s the process and path of getting to the goal. So to all of you who’ve seen my hard work and given me such wonderful words of congratulations; to you I thank you one and all. You, too, are the ones working hard! My goal is not points now; but to understand the new verbs and put them into sentences. One day I’ll write something like this in Spanish, and in the meantime I’ll try and get to know you all better along the way and hopefully help you on whatever path you are on and through whatever door you choose to go through. Gracias a todos mucho, señores y señoras y señoritas, ustedes los estudiantes de español o inglés.

get a kick every time someone makes the 10K . It is a fantastic goal to have
reached , and not an easy one ,it requires dedication perseverance and the
