Does the word for "he saw" - vio, have an accent or not?
I thought the third person singular of ver in the past tense had an accent over the "o". Is that not correct? Like: El niño vió un perro in la calle.

Welcome to the forum, no it does not, most monosillables have lost the accent unless they may cause clear confusion.
de - dé
mi - mí
but vio cannot be confused with any other word
Hi Bwey, and in addition - you may not know about the handy conjugation tool - if you look under the 'more' tab you can just plug in your word - in this case 'ver' and you will see all the parts of the verb.
