Both od thia words mean 'to think' in English. How to choose?

Creer also means to believe in something. Like creo en Dios- I believe in God. If you said pienso en Dios, that would mean, I think about God.

Creer refers to what you think or believe, while pensar refers to the act of thinking.

Creo que algo = I think that something

Pienso en alguien = I am thinking about someone

"Pensar" is "to think". "Creer" is "to believe". They are slightly different. smile
