When not to use una or un?

Hi I was just wondering if someone could tell me if it is necessary to use una/un when saying for instance "the bathroom has a bathtub or a shower". would it be correct to say "el bano tiene banera y ducha" or should I say "el bano tiene banera y una ducha" or "el bano tiene una banera y una ducha". If anyone could help that would be great thanks!

It's optional, but you should be consistant. Use them with both or neither. I would have not used them with either, but that's just personal preference.

It's pretty much the same as in English. You may use or not the article in the english expression but it's better to use them with both words, since you notice the items for the first time.

I would use articles with both nouns, but using articles with neither is also correct. The middle option sounds strange.
