Yes, it does. That's what they call informal future tense - ir + infinitive = to be going + ( to do something), same as in English. Only in this case it's future tense expressed in the past.
¡Ah!, yo creía que me ibas a morder. = Ah! I thought your were going to bite me.

Welcome to the forum. It's the 2nd person familiar imperfect conjugation of the verb ir. If you punch that into the dictionary up at the top of the page it will tell you that ir = to go, so ibas = you went. But without the rest of the sentence it's tough to say what it really means.
