I hope that my house doesn't get toilet-papered... I don't have any candy to give (by choice) and my husband tells me that I can't give away cherry tomatoes. Booooooo!

I hope you had as much fun as I did on Halloween! The candy apples I made turned out well and the day went smoothly. Every year I hold my breath in fear that I will mess up the recipe or burn the house down! I still have candy apples remaining.I see a stomach ache coming on!

I can still remember the first year I made them. I did not wear oven mitts when I dipped the apples into the hot syrup and a big gob of it landed on my hand and fused instantly into my skin. The syrup is boiled to 285 degrees and it caused a very nasty burn. I guess it is live and learn!

I don't have any candy to give out either. We are going to hide in our bedroom and watch a movie and pretend like we are not home.
