Skype Group was awesome....
I would like to first thank our leader Marianne for a great group tonight. Awesome job!! I would like to also thank Carlos, Cogumela, and Antonio for helping the non-native speakers with their Spanish!! I hope you got as much out of the chat as we did! As always Cathy, Anne and Sandy---did a great job!! I love hearing all the different dialects. Samuel, Eddy and Ian were insightful as usual and the new chatters that I hadn't met yet---Margaret and Sally, it was a pleasure meeting you. 
I just wanted to say that I had a great time!! Thanks to all who participated.

Yes, it was tremendous! We were happy to welcome Carlos back! We had three new comers, Tony and Margaret from North Carolina who are brand new to the forum and Galsally from England who was at chat for the first time. It was wonderful to have three native speakers, Carlos from Chile, Tony from Mexico, and Cogumela from Spain. We are so blessed to have such a variety of people! Annie from Australia, Eddy, from England, Ian now in Bolivia,and Marianne, Cathy, Jason, and Samdie from the U.S. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Marianne for moderating the chat. It is so nice to meet these people from all over the world!
Thank you, Carlos. It was wonderful to meet you, too. I've come to really look forward to Saturday afternoons. I love the fact that it is just as welcoming for new members as it is for the "usual suspects". I love the fact that we are patient and supportive of each other, and know how to laugh with each other and not at each other. I love the fact that we have folks from every concievable part of the world all joining together with the same goal of being able to communicate with a much larger group of people than we could if we only spoke our native languages. I love the diverse and interesting group that we have.

Normalmente participo en el chat en conversaciones directas (con Skype), las cuales también he propiciado, incluso aquí mismo en SD.
Debo decir que ha sido muy agradable, una moderadora de lujo cómo Marianne que sabe cómo administrar un grupo de hablantes. Me gustó lo de la presentación de cada uno y en el idioma que está aprendiendo, lo cual no siempre es fácil de hacer.
Espero también poder conversar directamente con los que puedan de vez en cuando. Muchas gracias y hasta una próxima oportunidad...
