What does the expression "ah bueh" mean?
I think it's some kind of expression you use as a reaction to when someone says something surprising or maybe controversial..I'm not sure, but I think that's the context I got it from. Does anyone have a good translation in english for it?

Since you haven't provided any context, I'm going to guess this is Mexican Spanish, and what you heard was ay guey (also written as wey) , which yes, can be used as an expression of surprise.
Maybe something like "ah dude". But without proper context you can't really get an accurate translation.
Dude?!!???!!!!
I think it is "güey" but he is making fun of it with bad pronunciation.
