Is it correct to say "arreglar un pinchazo"? Im not very convinced with the answer I get from the translation link here. I have used "desponchar una llanta" but even I am not sure that this is correct. Does anybody have a better way of saying this in Spanish? Gracias.

"Arreglar un pinchazo"... sounds just fine, "Parchar la llanta"... "arreglar la llanta"... either is ok.

"desponchar una llanta"... sounds very weird... I've never heard anybody saying this...

Thanks for the input. I've heard "desponchar" before and I always had my doubts about its use. Anyway thanks again.. - Myneg, Oct 30, 2010

It's hard to go wrong with arreglar. Like Tony says, you can pretty much arreglar anything that needs fixing.

Desponchar is a new one on me.

Yeah, "desponchar" might be a mexicanismo (I heard it in Mexico)... - Myneg, Oct 30, 2010
