Can "use your head" be used like it is in English "think and don't act stupid about something". I was surprised to see 22,000 hits for it on Google. Use your head for a change. Gracias.

The possessive "tu" here is used on purpose despite the rule about not using it with body parts, because it makes it sound like your head is just sitting there on your shoulders, like an useless object, instead of being part of you. Languages seem to break "the rules", but they are just making use of the transactional linguistic conventions to connote, not just denote things.
