In this particular case? Seems odd that a word like "concrete" could also mean "particular" because the two meanings seem so different. Gracias.

En concreto means specifically or in particular. If you think about it, concrete is sometimes used in this way in English, too, like "concrete examples" of something.

I believe you could say either - en este caso concreto or particular;
