how do you say to barter in spanish?

I've looked in my textbook glossary and could not find the word in my spanishbook. If you could give me a few examples since my teacher doesn't like us just using spanish translation button on the internet.

The verb to barter as in trading things instead of paying with money is "baratar." To haggle or bargain for something is "regatear."
