Proof read an email to Spanish professor
Hi guys, I was wondering if someone (or a couple of someones) would read through this email for me to make sure I am saying the things that I want to correctly. My main concern is with phrases like "I was hoping" which I have just done in the imperfect, and my use of the subjunctive (if it is necessary, correct, etc.) I've provided a general overview of what I would say say in English below. I realize a couple of the phrasing are in different tenses, but as long as the Spanish is correct, I don't mind.
*Hi, My name is Megan, and I have signed up for your SP 356 Spanish class this coming spring. I need an honors class each semester since I am in the honors program, and I was hoping that I could make this class an honors class by contract. I know it's early to be thinking about this, but I just wanted to make sure that I could do it so I would know whether to find another honors class or not. *
Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I'm not that sure about the "by contract" part, I guess that's the way it's done in your school...
