Shouldn't we say "suyo"?

I have a sentence in a book, it says the following: Todas las noches, Paco sale con alguna amiga suya. In this sentence shouldn't it be suyo since it refers to Paco? Or does it belong to the noun it modificates (in this case amiga)?

It's modifying amiga, so suya is correct.
