"Locked-out"

¡Hola a todos!

My roommate is teaching me French, and I'm teaching her Spanish. Today she wants to know how to say "locked out" as in, "last night she was locked out of the apartment," because last night she forgot her keys and was locked out of our apartment =)

So how would you say it? If there's no direct translation, that's fine, anything that conveys the same meaning is sufficient, graacias!

if anyone is wondering, in French, it's "être enferme dehors" grin
