Can this be used like "Any thoughts?". Like if you were looking for some place to eat, and you turn to a friend and said "¿Alguna Idea?" Gracias.

Yes, I think so. I just went to the translator and put in "I have some ideas." and it translated it to Tengo algunas ideas.
