En el diccionario (EX-word ew-s300) se encuentra la palabra "inserto" y lo define: "que está incluido en algo"... - efrainarredo

inserto [in-ser'-to, ta]

article & past participle

  1. Irregular of INSERTAR.

  2. Inserted.

verb 1. INGERTO.confused

You are right, inserto can be the participle of insertar, but not the noun

I am sorry to see we have yet another mistake in our dictionaryconfused

Ingertar is correctly spelled: injertar

I think there is a mistake. "inserto" is wrong. the verb is "insertar" synonymous of "colocar".

The correct can be " Se le insertó un ingerto (dispositivo de localización) a mi perro"

I hope be helpful

En la Real Academia Española www.rae.es no aparece nada como inserto, tampoco en el panhispánico de dudas. Gracias - RobertoSpain, Oct 27, 2010
Thanks for your input. It is indeed found in the RAE and in www.rae.es but not in the panhispánico de dudas. - Myneg, Oct 27, 2010

The noun is injertowink

In any case here in Spain we say:

Le puse un (micro)chip a mi perro

Gracias por la corrección. Ahora, ¿es injerto sinónimo de inserto? - Myneg, Oct 26, 2010

I would have thought to insert is a lot simpler and a completely different procedure than to graft. Personally I would have used "inserto", but hey, I have been wrong many times before, hehe.
