Just for the record I questioned the above answer because the definate article wasn't used as it usually is with body parts in spanish, La cabeza, los ojos etc. - kenwilliams, Oct 26, 2010

Just say, "Me duele la cabeza." It's more grammatically correct.

I would have said "tengo un dolor de cabeza".
Me duele la cabeza means my head hurts but it may not be a headache.
