Lamento decirles que nuestro amigo de la Copa Mundial, Pulpo Paul ha fallecido de causas naturales. ¿Que va a hacer el mundo de fútbol? Lo vamos a echar de menos!

No one wants the truth to be known.
The simple fact is that Paul felt that the aquarium was shafting him, and he was getting cheated out of advertisement royalties, so with a roar of: "I'm mad and I ain't taking it no more" (English wasn't his most polished skill), he went into a furious, destructive rampage.
When he got to the main visitor's area and threatened to flood the whole building sweeping everything and everyone out with the millions of gallons from the large animal tanks, the management knew that the situation called for desperate measures.
A special tactical team was shipped at huge cost from Pandora, but it was to no avail - Paul dispatched them all easily.
The situation seemed hopeless and desperate until, happily, a member of a little-known philosophical sect known as the SD-ites, remembered having read about a particularly skilled exterminartor.
Mr. K, as he likes to be known, quickly went about his grim business and brought back some peace, without undue loss of life, thus terminating the unfortunate sage of yet another victim of the excessive pressure that comes from sudden an unaccustomed public exposure.
Fortunately not all is lost, and with the help of the acclaimed chef Hans Grillenberger, Paul's presence shall be appreciated and enjoyed to the very end.
