Is there a good way too say sheltered in Spanish, as in naive and unexposed to the world?

"sheltered" as in "over protected", "unexposed to the ways of the world" is "apartado/a del mundo".
Example: "Her parents keep her too sheltered." - "Sus padres la mantienen demasiado apartada del mundo".
