Todo lo nuestro
Y no se conformaron con asesinar a una mujer indefensa, sino que incendiaron la casa y destruyeron todo lo nuestro.
Is "todo lo nuestro" = all that we have? all our things? I don't get the function of lo there, I know it usually means "the thing" or something like that "lo mismo" = the same way...... but I don't get it here. Gracias.

Yes... that's exactly what it means... "Everything that's ours".
You have to put "lo", because you're not saying what's the exact thing you lost...
"Perdimos todo nuestro patrimonio"
"Perdimos todo lo nuestro"
"Todo el nuestro" = "All (that is) ours" / "All of ours" (referred to a previously mentioned masculine noun, such as "patrimonio")
"Toda la nuestra" = "All (that is) ours" (referred to an abstract or unidentified thing that can be inferred from the previous context)
P.D. I can't believe I came up as an example with "patrimonio" too.
