I have a second-hand texbook for intermediate Spanish that repeatedly instructs the student (por ejemplo): "En parejas, túrnense para expresar sus emociones y opiniones sobre los siguientes acontecimientos históricos." I cannot identify the word "túrnense". Is this a word in standard Spanish? ,

turnarse means , in this case, to take turns
