Just met a horse named Ajunta and want to understand if attach or friend is a loose translation of this name. Can a native speaker please help me?

Ajuntarse is a word I've never used in my common speech...

"juntarse"... (get together), is more common.

In Mexico is often said "hay que juntarse"... "We should get together"

Ajuntarse means to move in together or live together. As a horse owner, my guess is that the owners of Ajunta named it that because they liked the sound of the name.
