Que quiere decir "Perozo".

Lei esta frase en el libro "En el tiempo de las mariposas". No puedo encontrar una traduccion para "Perozo".

Mama dice que se junta demasiado se junta con esa muchacha Perozo. íí

I think you're right, that it is a name. A character that comes later in the book is named Sinita Perozo. It's kind of strange in the context, however, since she had not been mentioned previously.

well, if it´s a surname maybe it means nothing: Perozo, Perazo. it´s just a a name. Now a word with any meaning similar to thatt is perezoso/a - mediterrunio, Oct 23, 2010

If it's capitalized like you wrote it, might it be a name? I've never heard it used as a name, but why else would it be capitalized?
