What does this mean? If racha means spell, string, gust of wind, then I don't get it. Gracias.

Streak, as in "streak of luck". Usually bad.
El equipo ha ganado una racha de 10 juegos. The team has won 10 straight.
Be careful how you pronounce it, though. In Argentina racha and raja sound very similar but mean very, very different things. Your phrase with the wrong pronunciation would definitely raise eyebrows.

it's a series of events... it can be of either good or bad nature...
¡qué buena racha!... To have a run of good luck
qué racha... by itself... can be...
I'm having good luck, or bad luck... depending on how is said...
