I met a mexican fellow who says my chihuahua 's name Poocho, should bs Pozcho, which means someone who's half mexican and half something else?

"Poocho" could be spanglish for "Pooch" as in "dog."
He could also be saying "Pocho," a somewhat derogatory term given to US-born Mexicans by Mexican nationals.
"Mestizo(a)" is a person of mixed race.
