This is to advise you that the roof is leaking ( or of the leaking roof). It has been leaking for two days. The living room and its curtains are wet also. I want to repair the roof immediately. It wasn't clear in your notice whether you wanted the resident to do the repairs or whether you were offering to do the repairs. I tried to write it from the viewpoint of a landlord notifying their tenant that they will be doing repairs shortly.
