even numbers 2,4,6,8, etc.

odd numbers 1, 3, 5, 7, etc.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

odd number = número impar

even number = número par

You can find this and more in the dictionary located at the top of this screen. smile

In addition to what Marianne said, an odd number can also be called non wih plural nones, and the word numero can be dropped when it is clear from context.

That's technically correct, although I'm not used to the word "nones" except in the expression "pares o nones". When talking about odd numbers I'm used to hearing "impar/impares" almost exclusively. - bill1111, Oct 21, 2010

Singular

  • odd .- Numero non ex; 1 or 3 or 5......
  • even.- Numero par ex: 2 or 4 or 6.......

Plural.

  • odd numbers.- Numeros nones ex: (1,3,5,7)
  • even numbers.- Numeros pares ex: (2,4,6,8)

Thank you! I am helping a fifth grader with math terms, and when I use the dictionary it says, "machine translation, could be inexact."
