What is the appropriate term for "straight" as in heterosexual? Ya sé heterosexual y homosexual pero habrán palabras que no son ofensivos además de estas.

Maricón is the most common slang term for a homosexual; it's offensive, as are marica, cochón, and many others. Worst of all is "puto", which is also a general term of abuse. Note that "gay" is pronounced as in English.

Gay is widely used in Spanish as is. I can't think of the slang term equivalent to "straight", though.
