Spanish equivalent to "lol"
Is there a term that is used in spanish which has the same meaning when emailing to indicate "lots of laughter or lol"

I don't know of any abbreviations, but I often see "jaja" (the spelled out sound of laughter).
Here's a list of lots of Spanish texting abbreviations. I don't know how common they all are, but it may be of interest or good for reference.
The one I have seen in Twitter is CDLR. Since it involves the use of an "unacceptable" word, I won't write it here. I'm sure you can easily find out what it means if you look it up in Google or Bing. Actually, this is closer to ROLF thant to LOL.

I agree.. I usually use jaja or jajajajajajajajajajaaaaaaaaaa.
The only one I heard of was "jaja"... they seem to use that a lot.
I just use "jaja" when texting in Spanish.
