Who do you especially miss on the site? People who are not here any more.....

Question

On a forum people come and go, some are not even remembered, others were never noticed.

But there are those who are dearly missed.

I have only just seen Renarules on the site, one of our most appreciated members, who had to leave the forum for personal reasons. I still remember her intelligent threads and wonderful and friendly answers, so many private messages we shared....I miss you Rena and I am sure not the only one !

Why don't we say hello and hi to all those who cannot be with us any more. This forum has had three changes since I have been here, and so many left because they did not like the changes, others just the opposite, they came back because of the changes

Anyway, as I have just seen Rena, I would like to start with her, Rena, we miss you

Just wondering. Why did people not like the new changes to the site?

Hola amigos

So, I too was contacted by our dear Heidi (and for that Heidita, I thank you, otherwise I might not have been on for quite a while).... And yes, I must admit, I haven't been very active lately Which I regret.

I have simply been very busy, although I do still read many of the posts... I just don't participate in them Also, I've been taking a Spanish course and thus, haven't been watching the SpanishDict videos as much....

However, if I were to add in the people that I miss, that would most definitely be Fidalgo and Issabela

Muchas gracias por poner atención a mi persona pero hay algunas cosas que me impiden a visitar el foro. Ojala no mas. Nada mas queria mencionar Chaparrito, quien si, participa de vez en cuando en discusiones en esta página web pero hay menos sus ejercicios de traducción, los quales me gustaban mucho. No entiendo porque algunas personas tuvieron que abandonar este foro. Y me sorprende un poco, que algunas respuestas son a veces borrados solo por el lenguaje impropio. O sea, incluso la lengua de la calle que vive y que existe en realidad, en las calles de Mexico, por ejemplo, donde me gustaba escuchar a los Mexicanos jovenes hablando con y sobre palabrotas que fueron nada vulgares sino graciosas i normales entre los jovenes. De todos modos, sigo gustar de esta pagina web y voy a participar más seguido en cuanto sea posible para mi.

There was somebody called Dani I think. Had an england flag as her avatar. Quit in July after some politics discussion I think. Had some pms with her regarding the works of Sam Harris and Christopher Hitchens. Was surprised to see her leave.

This is what Lisbeth said, I can see now that many of the "missing" people simply don't post as frequently as they used to, but at least they have not left us, that is good to know
