Hi, Diego. You must always capitalize the first word in a sentence and the personal pronoun "I." Also, you need proper punctuation, either a period, question mark, etc. at the end of each sentence.
You're post should look like this:
I am sorry. I am not really sure what went wrong in my post. Can you tell me in detail?

Why this sentence need to put the articule.
This sentence doesn't need the article, either.
También estudiamos ciencias.
(nor the personal pronoun)
Diego, the article for matemáticas is "las", but you don't have to use the article in your sentence:
Usted estudia matemáticas is right.
Usted estudia las matemáticas sounds odd.
But if you wanted to say "Maths are very difficult ", then you would have to put the article, because Maths is the subject of the sentence.
Las matemáticas son muy complicadas.
Sorry, I wouldn't know convenience to put the link here or not. If not ok , Please delete it.

Hi and welcome again.
You need to look in the dictionary, located at the top of this screen, to find out if "matemáticas" is feminine or masculine. Then, you use either "las" or "los" before the noun.
