Film lovers website - Cinengaños
I'd just like to recommend this site, for its pleasant film reviews in Spanish which are great reading practice. I find it much easier to be motivated about reading when I like the subject matter.

Interesting site name. It seem to be a combination of cine and engaños which seems unlikely unless it means something akin to Special Effects. Do you know how they derived the name or what it purports to say?
As they put in the site, it's a game of words: In Spanish from Mexico and Latin America, it's pronnounced just like "Sin engaños", and talking about movies "Cine".
"sin engaños" would be: no tricks, no deceits.

I have just been trying to find that out Quentin, I found 'tricks', 'wiles' and 'lures' as possible meanings Reverse Dictionary
Maybe we'll get the opinion of a native speaker on it at some point. ![]()
