I learned the phrase "a contrapelo" meaning wrong way; backwards. So, i was wondering if you could use it to say "Your shirt is on backwards." And if not, how would you say that phrase? And when would you use "contrapelo"? I know it's a silly question. grin

Welcome to the forum! And this is not a silly question at all; in fact, it's the sort of question that shows up quite a bit. - mountaingirl123, Oct 16, 2010

Uf.. you might say that in a *very* informal way. Also, "alante" is colloquial way of saying "adelante" or "delante" in common speech, but it shouldn't be written. - bill1111, Oct 17, 2010
In my conuntry there is not other way to say that we say tienes la camisa con lo delante para atras, when you say tienes la camisa al reves the meaning is different for us is inside out. - Milagro1983, Oct 18, 2010
