One of the things I love about this site is the fast and simple tool provided right underneath the post box for using letters with accents, the n with the tilde, and the upside down interrogation and exclamation marks. To be really complete SpanishDict could also add the capitalized letters with accents as well.

Learning Spanish includes learning to use these elements properly. So why do I see so many posts and comments even from fluent speakers without them?

Am I being too picky? Are people just forgetting or not realizing we have this tool?

You should highlight the part about "even from fluent speakers." - 0074b507, Oct 16, 2010
Especially because they should be setting examples for new learners. :) - Stardust2212, Oct 16, 2010

I agree with you 100%, I love the accents, and when the access to them is so easy... I don't see how someone would turn them down! I actually have a friend who speaks Spanish as her native language and she outright refuses to use accents when writing. I don't understand why, seeing as the accent marks are one of my favorite things about the language, but when I ask her she just responds with "I don't like using them." Maybe because it's easier, the world will never know. hahah smile
