Rember that "ir + a + infinitvo" can be used to express something that will happen in the future. It's exactly like saying you're going to do something or somthing is going to happen etc. in English.

Do you have to use "mirar?" I was thinking that "ver" was better... - benweck, Oct 15, 2010

I think if you are helping someone do their homework and the question asks for mirar, you use that in helping him, even if that is not what you would normally use. And then maybe add a comment. - Stadt, Oct 15, 2010
