I think I've been insulted!!
Not sure of the pronounciation, but I was recently called a "bundano" or similar. It was obviously dergatory. I would like to know its meaning so I can respond accordingly
Thanks

If you do not know the meaning then you have not been insulted, so relax

Now if mike was a female and she had been called "mujer mundana", then yes, it would have been an insult, hehe.
i guess mundana goes for hollow headed...cabeza hueca..kinda calling someone not that smart
Artman, please read PM, further post in this line will be deleted.

The only thing I can think of is "boludo" which pretty much means jerk, idiot, or fool, but it's possible to use it as a term of endearment with someone you're familiar with.
If it seems derrogatory, it might have been Portuguese, and not Spanish. You didn't say if you are familiar with the language. In Brazilian Portuguese there is a derrogatory term that sounds like that...
