Which is the correct way to say "what is your name" ? como se llama or que es su nombre

"Qué es su nombre?" would imply that you are asking for the meaning of the term "su nombre" and not for somebody's name. Not the best way to ask that, however so I just wouldn't use the sentence.

Here are the formal ways of saying it. ¿Como se llama Ud.? o ¿Cual es su nombre?

Hi , welcome to the forum, you may have a look at Google.. Like "What is your name in Spanish" I'm sure you'll find a million things over there.. Or you can have a look at the Phrasebook on this site... Good Luck..
