""Estacionamiento" or "aparcamiento " are translations for parking, but they are used for parking lot. I would use "tengo que ir a mi lugar de estacionamiento/aparcamiento". El "mi" is there to point that you are referring to your parking spot.

In Mexico a parking space is "cajón". The complete term is "cajón de estacionamiento".

In Argentina, cochera where you usually keep your car if you don´t have a garage, and estacionamiento if you go, for instance, to a mall

In Spain, parking lot is "aparcamiento", and parking space "plaza de aparcamiento", or "plaza de garaje" if it belongs to a garage. When the space doesn't belong to either, such as the space reserved for parking next to a sidewalk, you simply say "sitio para aparcar".

Right, but "aparcamiento" mostly refers to parking lot or parking structure. - Myneg, Oct 13, 2010
