A book is a bunch of pages that are held together which has some kind of cover.

It could also mean procesar. The suspect was booked for concealing a weapon.

1) A book= un libro

2) To book= largarse/ huir

3) To book= procesar

Check out "book a ticket", book a room", - the trick is, it's a verb here, not a noun.

libro = book

pero hay mucha argot en inglés para la palabra.

Él está corriendo rapidamente = he's booking.

El árbitro le dió una tarjeta amarilla = the ref booked him.

Estoy preocupado = I'm booked/ all booked up.

It is also slang for. " I have to leave now " I gotta book, I have to study, or go take care if business.

if you mean book as in textbooks, storybooks then the spanish fr it will be 'el libro'
