Asereje las Ketchup
I am looking at the song Asereje by las Ketchup and the chorus (at least to me) is nonsensical. I was wondering if a native speaker (or 5) could confirm my suspicion.
Estoy escuchando Asereje por las Ketchup y el coro (me parece) no tiene sentido. Me pregunto si algunos hispanohablantes nativos podrían confirmarlo.

But... here´s the key to unravel the mysterious success of those girls:
I said a hip hop, the hippie, the hippie
Aserejé ja de jé de jebe

majabi an de bugui
to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat
an de buididipí
so your surprise comes from the first verse of Rapper's Delight: "I say the hip hop, the hippie...", pronounced phonetically in Spanish the way it would sound to someone who does not understand English, becomes the chorus of The Ketchup Song. Although technically meaningless and sometimes referred to as gibberish, the chorus is a more-or-less phonetic pronunciation of the first verse almost in its entirety.
