I want to use the word quilt as a verb "to quilt". I found the noun form of quilt "edredón". If there is no verb form, do I say " me gusta hacer los edrednes"?

I can find acolchar listed in dictionaries as a verb meaning to quilt or pad

link text this site seems to actually be using it in the sense you are trying to use it, however I cannot say for sure what would be the preferred term to a native speaker, nor is my Spanish good enough to be completely sure this is it.

Do you mean "To quit"? if you do I think you say Renuncio = I quit so the verb would be renunciar, but you said quilt which is an english noun and not a verb quilt or eiderdown. Also you could say: Me rindo = I give in or give up. from the verb rendir.
