Need Help Posing a Question in Español

Question

I am trying to compose an e-mail to my Spanish professor about the syllabus, but we are only allowed to speak to her in Spanish. I am trying to say:

Hello Professor Fuentes,

I am reading over the syllabus, and it says that we have a "Micro-Prueba #12c" on Wednesday the 13th. I am not sure what this means, because it is not described in the Grading Components section of the syllabus. Is this meant to read "Micro-Muestra #12c"? I await your response.

Estoy leyendo el syllabus y según ese tenemos un "Micro-Prueba #12C" el Miércoles, el trece de octubre. Estoy no seguro que un "Micro-Prueba" es porque ese no describió en la componente de clasificar sección de el syllabus. ¿Debería ese dice "Micro-Muestra #12c"? Espero su respuesta.

Estoy leyendo el programa de estudios y según ese tenemos una "Microprueba #12C" el miércoles [days of the week in lower case], el trece de octubre. Estoy no segura de qué es "Microprueba", porque no está descrito en la sección de calificaciones del programa. ¿Debería decir "Micromuestra #12c"? Espero su respuesta.

"Syllabus" in Spanish is "sílabo", but instead of being a list of topics covered in education, it is a general term for "list", used in catalogues, but not for education.
