That's more like it. (informal) something that you say when someone improves an offer or an attempt

'I can raise my offer to $500.' - 'That's more like it.'

What would it be in Spanish?

that´s more like it -------> eso tiene otro color (meaning that it looks better)

- Puedo mejorar mi oferta en $5000, más un premio. - ¡Ah, bien! ¡Eso tiene otro color!

Here's what I have heard for "that's right, that's better, that's it! = ¡Así es!

I would also say that "¡Eso está mejor!" would convey your meaning nicely.

Edit: Edited to change "ser" to "estar."

The latter works better in this context, although I'd say "Eso está mejor". - bill1111, Oct 11, 2010
