New game 11 (updated) : Más / Menos + adjective + que
Hi everybody , I have a new idea for a game and I hope you like ![]()
The idea of the game is to practice comparisons in Spanish .
Game rules :-
1 - I'll give you two nouns in both languages ( English - Spanish )
2 - And all you have to do is to choose an adjective to compare between those two nouns in Spanish .
más + adjective + que (more. . .than) OR
menos + adjective + que (less. . .than)
For Example :-
==========
Nouns given : la flora blanca (white flower) - la flora roja (red flower)
.
The comparison : la flora roja es más bonita que la flora blanca
=
The red flower is nicer than the white flower .
Please read those notes carefully
Thank you
Notes :
.
- The adjective must match the first noun as it is the subject of the comparison.
.
- Don't forget to put another 2 nouns for the next person to play with.
- Remember to click on NEWEST to see the last two nouns given.
- Please provide the English translation for each sentence.
- Try to make things a little bit different , don't use one adjective more 5 times on your posts

- If there were two or more posts which use the same 2 adjectives the last one will be the next one and the other one's example will be provided on the comments that's the only solution I could found for all those duplicated posts
Remember: Do N O T use más before mejor .
and also remember that :
The adjective must match the first noun as it is the subject of the comparison
Great job everyone![]()
.
Exceptions
There are a few adjectives that can compare nouns without the use of the formulas above. With these adjectives, you do NOT need to use más or menos. The adjective itself is a comparison word and only needs **que ** afterwards to mean "than."
One Word Comparisons
| mejor | better |
| peor | worse |
| mayor | larger |
| mayor | older |
| menor | younger |
.
Ok I'll start with : el fútbol - el golf
Have fun ![]()
