When someone asks you "¿Hablan español tus padres?" How do you answer?

"Si, nosotros padres hablan español." or "No, nosotros padres no hablan español."

This is what I think it is, but I'm not sure it's right. Would someone check for me please? It's hard to get the hang of this, but I'm learning! ^^

You can asnwer like this:

Very simple :D

Oh... padres means parents?? Hmm... So would it be "Mis padres no hablamos español"? - Saphire, Oct 9, 2010
(If they didn't speak Spanish of course...) - Saphire, Oct 9, 2010

Just one note for Sakuraflower:

Mis padres no hablamos español.

This is not correct, because hablamos is for first person plural (or commonly known as we). It would end up like "My parents we don't speak Spanish."

The correct verb would be hablan like the answer above (which is third person plural or you formal plural).

Your sentence should say:

Mis padres no hablan español.
