Exótica is used the same as its cognate, exotic

Hopefully, the meaning in your case was . Intriguingly unusual or different; excitingly strange

Being exotic, or foreign, from a different culture, etc. is supposed to add an alluring quality of mystery (it's a compliment; not derogatory)

Hi Nic, well spelled correctly 'eres muy exótica' if you try that in the translator you should get some good results.
