Describing "travling tech"

Yesterday I was trying to explain this concept and I think I lacked a little of the correct vocab to explain it in spanish correctly. Here's what I'd say in english:

"It's like where I would sign up with a traveling agency and they send me to different assignments for up to 3 months at a time. You're always in a new place."

I know you like me try it first, sooo maybe "Es dónde (actually, is that ok to say, like when you're explaining something? always wondered that) me apuntaría/matricularía con una agencia (how would you say traveling agency here?) y me enviarían a lugares/hopsitales diferentes para trabajar hasta tres meses. Siempre estaría en un lugar nuevo."

What's the best word for assignment in this context?

I know that's ok but I would like to be able to explain that better. And how would I say "traveling tech," una tecnica que viaja para trabajo?

Thanks so much!

If I were you, I would try to keep things as simple as possible.

"Necesito ir a lugares diferentes para mi trabajo."
(I need to go to different places for my job.)

Then you could say,

"Por ejemplo, trabajo en hospitales en Nueva York, Florida, California, etc." (For example, I work at hospitals in New York, Florida, California, etc.)

For traveling tech, maybe you could just describe your job. I'm not really sure what you do as a traveling tech.

You wouldn't say "Es dónde". You could use something as simple as "Es el lugar en que..." in order to get your point across.

For traveling agency, I think the best way to describe a group like that is "una agencia de viaje".

For the part where you talk about 3 months at a time, you want to say something like "...por 3 meses a la vez".

Lastly, if you want to tell the reader that they will always be in a new place, you should either change "estaría" to "estarías" or put "Ud." in the sentence.

hope this helps wink
