You missed out the "how" "why" and "where" questions. - ian-hill, Oct 6, 2010

I made them!

I had some flour, some sugar, some "salsa", so I mixed them, I added a little bit of subjunctive, some past tense sprinkle... and the result was Spanish.

So, who made English words, again? I forgot. Was it Shakespeare?

I think a much more fascinating question would be at what point in the evolution of the language would you declare that Spanish was spoken and not a Latin vernacular - Stadt, Oct 6, 2010

Spanish words have been slowly created over thousands of years, originally by a group of people who spoke Latin and lived in part of the Iberian peninsula, and more recently by anyone who has come to follow their language traditions (for whatever reasons). New Spanish words continue to be created as new needs occur (I would use the Spanish word for computer as a recent example, but I think only certain Latin Americans would agree with my word choice).

What kind of question in this?

How could be the words "made" by someone? and what do you want to say exactly with when?

Is it my lack of understanding English, or is this a joke?

Restate your question again, please, otherwise to give you an answer is difficult

You missed out the "how" "why" and "where" questions. I wonder W H Y.

The two biggest reasons why are young people not wanting to be understood by their elders and fathers not wanting strangers to be understood by their daughters.
