The difference between incorporarse and levantarse.

Incorporarse apparently means to get up. Can this be used as another option to levantarse? If not, what are the different applications please?

From the definition of incorporarse you can see that it can be synonymous with levantarse. From the other definitions you can see how they can differ.
Incorporarse=2. to sit up (levantarse)
